We are proud supporters and volunteers of the Operation Buckeye initiative, and support our troops by collecting donations for care packages. We decided to give our troops a taste of home by having their favorite items dropped at each of our 4 locations.
Operation Buckeye was formed with the sole purpose of sending boxes to our troops as a way of thanking them for their efforts and to bring them a touch of home. The physical conditions they endure are challenging and being away from family for long periods is a true hardship.
With the goal of bringing a touch of home to our soldiers, we ensured that the boxes contain items that are were treats and necessities. Beef Jerky and hard candy are two of their favorites, along with drink mixes (to give water a better taste). Chips, cheese crackers, canned fruit, granola bars, tuna snacks, toothbrushes and paste, books, deodorant, foot powder, peanuts, puzzle books, and wipes are only a partial list of items sent.
